Hill Mechanical was selected to design and install the HVAC and plumbing systems for this three-story 310,000 square foot office and call center. The mechanical work was negotiated in the design development phase of the project in order to facilitate system selection (including energy modeling) for LEED Gold Certification, budget control and to take maximum advantage of Hill Mechanical's Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.The mechanical systems include four, 240-ton custom roof mounted VAV packaged air conditioning units with evaporative condensers. Ceiling mounted fan powered VAV boxes will serve the perimeter areas while vertical air columns handle the interior thru the raised floor. Welded black iron kitchen hood exhaust ductwork and fan serve the first floor cafeteria. CRAC units piped to dry coolers are installed in the MDF. Hill Mechanical Services, Inc. will self-perform testing and balancing as well as commissioning. Architect:
