• Company Philosophy Established in 1936, Hill Mechanical Group is a contracting mechanical engineering organization with highly developed preconstruction planning and prefabrication abilities. Our basic belief is that a project that satisfies our client is of higher priority than a profitable project. The success of this and other philosophies contribute to the Group’s continual growth and its status as the largest trade contractor of any type in Illinois. • Specialization Hill Mechanical Group specializes in heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, process piping, industrial ventilation, precision fabrication and plumbing systems. Over one-third of our projects are performed on a design-build or assist design-build arrangement. A large, competent, 24-hour service/maintenance department is available, along with a complement of Stationary or Operating Engineers for full-time placement in client facilities. • Capabilities and Resources People are the essence and value of Hill Mechanical Group. We employ approximately 650 people, including 30+ graduate engineers. Project engineers are totally responsible for project quality and completion, and we lead the industry in technical support resources. Our dedicated work force of Pipefitter and Sheet Metal trades is managed in an integrated manner for total project enhancement (installed quality, servicability, lower costs, accelerated schedules, and construction harmony).
